ABOUT
Creepy Amazonia is a collection of unique drawings created by independent illustrator. This project is represented by illustrations of various insects and small creatures that live in the Amazon forests.

Even though the project is called Creepy Amazonia, some of little creatures are supposed to be cute and a little weird. All illustrations are unique and created specifically for this project. Nadine doesn't use any bots or copiers to create the collection, only photoshop and a tablet :) Each illustration is fIlled with warmth and love of the author.

This project was created, among other things, to draw attention to the problem of Amazon forest destruction. In July 2019, deforestation increased to three football fields per minute.

Creepy Amazonia allows people to draw attention to the fact that there are fragile creatures that need to be cared for. Part of profits will be donated to the Amazon Conservation Fund for planting new trees and other restoration work.

FAQ

What is Creepy Amazonia?
This project is represented by illustrations of various insects and small creatures that live in the Amazon forests.

Who is the artist?
Art is created by independent artist Nadine Veresk.

Why is each art presented in one piece only?
With this action the author wanted to emphasize that each creature is unique.

Do these bugs really exist?
Some creatures actually live in the forests of the Amazon, but a huge part of the biological diversity of the forests in this region has not yet been studied, so the author allows to dream up what some of them might look like.

Why do all these creatures look creepy and weird?
The author can draw in different styles, but for this project was chosen a slightly strange style in order to emphasize that living creatures look like this when their forest home is destroyed.

What is the future of Creepy Amazonia?
At the moment, it is planned to develop the project, maintain social networks and replenish the collection. In the future, fate of the project will be decided by the community.
